"Want to give a special feature to the passage of time in order to celebrate how much your students have changed while they've been at school? The perfect way to celebrate is with the "Then and Now" themed page, which catalogues each student with a photo of their past along with a current photo. This may also include group photos. The deadline to submit photos is November 1st. If you would like a spot on the page, please submit pictures to Ms. Rice or Katie Poff. They are available for submissions and yearbook questions at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com."

The National Honor Society is doing a fundraiser to raise money for hurricane relief organizations. This week, September 11-15, any junior high or high school student can pay $1 a day or $5 for the week to their first period classroom to wear a hat to school. First period teachers will keep track of the money raised and the classroom with the most donations will receive a donut party! Make sure you show your support for hurricane relief and wear a hat!

Recently we received a phone call from states away that a class ring was found in an old box and it appeared to belong to a Madison graduate from the class of '86! Tracey Retherford, our new front desk secretary at the high school, took the call and using the initials engraved inside the ring and the new Class Photo Wall she identified a potential match. From there, we reached out to several Ray Hatfield's in the area and today we found the rightful owner! After nearly 30 years, the lost ring is being mailed back to Ray Hatfield, Madison Class of '86. #goodtobeamohawk
