Effective Monday April 27th through the end of the school year Trenton Franklin Rd will be closed between State Route 122 and Howe Rd. Since bus traffic will not be able to travel on this section of Trenton Franklin Rd to pick-up and drop-off students we have set up two temporary bus stops (pick-up and drop-off) for your student(s). You can choose the bus stop that better accommodates you during this time. It is the parent(s) responsibility to get students to and from these temporary stops. Congratulations! The following girls have been selected for the 2015-2016 cheerleading squads! All list are final. Special thank you to the 2015 graduating seniors on their help with tryouts, as well as, our tryout judges. No parent meetings regarding squad placement will be entertained.
Pasta for Pennies Presented by Olive Garden is a service learning, character education and philanthropy program that gives students a unique experience by making a difference through teamwork—working together to aid thousands of children and adults in the fight against blood cancers like leukemia. From April 22-May1st students will donate during 1st period. If the students reach $350 by April 24th, they will be rewarded with a Spirit Week and the class that raises the most money will receive lunch from Olive Garden.
Brad Malott of Madison was named Academic All Ohio as selected by Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association. Making the Division III list of ten selections, he is also a recipient of a $1000 scholarship from the OHSBCA in a separate award. Brad averaged 14.1 ppg and sports a 4.0 GPA in honors classes.
The Butler County Engineer's Office reports that Trenton Franklin Road will close between Howe Road and Leichty Avenue for a series of culvert replacements beginning Monday, April 27, 2015. Jr/Sr High School bus route 10 and MES bus route 5 will be affected. Some students may not have service during this time. We will make additional contact when we have more information. Coty Cobb is a nominee for Ohio High School Athlete of the Week for clearing a school record 16-0 to win the pole vault and record the state’s top mark to date at Monroe’s Justin Brittain Invitational.
