Junior High Football Information

** There will be mandatory Junior high football equipment fittings on Tuesday, July 17 and Thursday, July 19.

** There will be no workouts Tuesday, July 24, Thursday, July 26, or Tuesday, July 31.
** Mandatory practices begin Wednesday, August 1 6pm - 7:30pm.  You will be given practice schedules that week.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING – MADISON LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION

Pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code 121.22(F), notice is hereby given that on Friday, July 13, 2018, the Board of Education of the Madison Local School District, Butler County, Ohio, shall hold a special meeting for the purpose of providing a public forum for discussing the Board’s firearms authorization policy and related issues.

WHAT: Special Meeting of the Board of Education 
 
DATE: Friday, July, 13, 2018
 
TIME: 5:30 p.m. – Executive Session 6:00 p.m. (approximately) – Public Comment
 
PURPOSE: Executive Session: For the consideration of details relative to the security arrangements and emergency response protocols for a public body or a public office, because disclosure of the matters discussed could reasonably be expected to jeopardize the security of the public body or public office. (Ohio Rev. Code 121.22(G)(6))
 
Public Comment Session for discussing the Board’s firearms authorization policy and related issues.
The public comment session shall commence immediately following the executive session.  The public comment session will conclude at approximately 8:00 p.m.

Sports Physicals - 6/19/18

Dr. Chamberlain will offer all student athletes in grades 7-12 sports physicals on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in the Field House Community Room.
Cost: $20
4:00-5:00pm - High School Athletes
5:00-6:00pm - Junior High Athletes
Reminder: ALL student athletes must have a yearly physical to be eligible to compete per the OHSAA guidelines.

MJSHS Summer School Registration

Registration Deadline: Friday, June 1, 2018
Courses: Online courses in English, Math, Science, Social Studies and Health are available for credit recovery.
Format: All courses will be offered online. Students should have access to a computer and Internet at home. Students must check in at least once per week at the school for progress reporting.

Chicago Theater Trip 2019 - Info Meeeting

There will be a meeting on Thursday, May 17th at 7:30 in the high school auditorium for all parents and students interested in the Thespian Trip to Chicago, taking place April 2019. Attendance is VERY important if you or your student are interested in attending! This trip is for any already inducted thespians or any student who participates in a high school musical or play production next school year. Please see Mrs. Robertson with any questions before the meeting.
