Flu Symptoms and Suggestions

We have seen an increase of students with flu-like symptoms. Those symptoms include, fever, headache, sore throat, body aches and cough. If your child has any of the above symptoms and especially an elevated temperature, please keep them home at least 24 hours after the fever is gone without the use of fever reducing drugs. Ibuprofen and Tylenol are recommended. Do not use aspirin or any medications such as Pepto Bismol that contain aspirin while they have flu like symptoms. If your child has a medical condition, and they develop a fever, please call your doctor for guidance.
Thank you, Nurse Fose and Mrs. Conley
