My name is Matthew Scholp, and I have been the 9th grade English teacher at Madison Jr./Sr. High School since the fall of 2009. Previously I taught at Brookville Local School District in Brookville, OH, and Centerville City Schools in Centerville, OH.
I graduated from Centerville High School, in Centerville, OH, in 1995.  I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from The Ohio Northern University in 2000, and a Masters of Science degree in Education and Allied Professions from the University of Dayton in 2011.
My interests include reading, writing, and music. Aside from being a teacher I am a working musician, performing in two different bands in the Dayton area as a drummer, bass player, guitarist, and vocalist.
